We'd love to have you as part of our community

We are an open and diverse community, everyone is welcome to join!

We use collective intelligence to develop innovative ideas to turbo-charge a green revolution.

There are no membership fees and all our events are free of charge.

You do not have to take part in every project (it’d be awesome if you do)!

You do not need a specific background, experience or education. Only a curious mind and love for our planet.

curious mind

what exactly aM I signing up for?

We’re a volunteer-powered organisation and we do not expect you to commit to a fixed schedule.

First and foremost, you’re a member of the community. This means that you can take part in ideation workshops, bring skills or ideas to projects, or even just participate in discussions that interest you.

If a project takes your fancy, you’re free to get involved. You can join as many projects as you like. Got your own pet project? Great. Bring it to the community, and become your own project lead.

You can even become a member of our operations team. If you want to lend a hand in running and organising our community, you’ll always be welcome.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

We run regular onboarding sessions with our community managers to welcome you and show you the ropes. If you’re keen to get going, here’s a step-by-step guide.

1. Head to our ‘Community Hub’ (you’ll find it at the top of the page). Have a good look around.
2. There you’ll see a link to our Slack chatroom. This is the heart of the community, where we do all of our communication. you’ll find ‘channels’ such as ‘general’ and ‘inspiration’ alongside our project channels. Join any channel you like, introduce yourself in ‘introductions’ and chat freely!
3. Sign up to an upcoming workshop on the #workshops channel. This is a great way to really get stuck in.
4. Subscribe to our newsletter for news, workshops and events. check out our member’s starter pack for more details.
5. Have fun, make friends and save the planet!
